International breakthrough PeeSpot urine collection device

02 oktober 2019
Dr. Jan Hessels

Recently we got a lot of interest in our PeeSpot urine collection device. The main reason for this breakthrough is an article by dr. Sophie van den Belt (doctor, UMCG) in PLOS ONE.

Sophie obtained her PhD in 2018 on the thesis: "Albuminuria: more than a renal risk marker?". Two of her articles have recently been published in important scientific journals. They deal with the use of the PeeSpot for collecting urine for microalbuminuria and are part of her dissertation. The first proposition accompanying her dissertation reads: "Although the panty liner also works, the PeeSpot is the most suitable tool for collecting urine for albuminuria determinations in young children".
